Although Miguel Llobet was mostly known from his excellent skills as a guitar virtuoso or arranger, his compositions such as this „Romanza“ belongs to my favorite of the guitar repertoire. I love the romantic spirit and a calm pace of this short masterpiece, it brings me always to a peaceful state and place such as this landscape of the infinite sky and vast ocean. As Rumi says:
Your heart is the size of an ocean. Go find yourself in its hidden depths.
